Not going to make crab opener but need to alleviate some freezer space.  I've got a few Salmon heads, Salmon heads with carcasses (post fileting), and a Stiper head or two with carcasses.  All from this season and a couple just caught.  Free to a good home.  Let me know on this post or PM.  I am at Watt and American River.

Thanks
Steve

I heard that salmon carcasses make great crab bait but make sure there are no sea lions nearby cause they will rip through the cages to get to 'em. Can anyone shed some light on this?

One of my first post on here was of me being knocked out of my yak while pulling up a trap that had a salmon head in it, something hit the trap and then the yak. I didn't know what it was but all I saw was a shadow under the kayak. I think it was a sea lion.

Sure thing James.  THey are zip locked and Frozen in packs.  I'm next door with Matt so he can be a go between as well.  I will also probably be heading down towards Rio Vista this weekend if that helps.

Hopefully both.  Gotta see how the weather and work pan out.  Where is del Valle?
