recantly I found myself driving in at Muir, contiously telling mysely the surf was going to be a bit worse than I have grown accustom to over this summer. Why would I eber try and catch the same wave 6 sweetstrokes later than a friend whom has allready broken through a wave? The answer simply is that I was beginning to begin on my new negiative oddacy. With littel curage, energy, deturmination, and effort I dragegged my farmed punk ass out of the surf and began to go again. Two more increadbly week, awkward moves in the surf and I have time to mentally whine about not even eating a banana. Back on the beach, peal out of the drysuit i had half on and half off with the waist sincheched as is my way, I peeled out of it, releasing the water, wile turing the leggs insid out, on a log in the sun to dry. Having lost nothing in my three breef incounters with early morning surf crashes, I set my sticks where the reels would not get sand aman lifted up my yack to relese a bit of water. With all sistems go minuse a hat and my lesser of two pair sunglasses, I was again off and ready to choke.  This time i put on the full suit, zipped up, paddled out threw the wave I was sure was my last, took three more confused strokes, looked up, yelled copulate as loud as I felt appropreate and preceded to get compleatly hammered by a nice looking curl, of the kind that tends to leave mist off its leeding edge as it beginnsto slam dowm on everything in tits path. Somewhere out there in the sand and surf is a piece of my man card, a little of my self confadence and a replacable, faided orange hat some of wich may be lost for ever.
