Hey everybody  :smt006

My wife (goodbaitgirl on Fishsniffer)  and I are proud new owners of 2 outbacks. We picked them up last Saturday from Jed at Kayak City. right after we went to Natomas. Which was the first time we've ever been in sit-on kayaks.  paddled my sisters pungos once before in tomales bay.   Yesterday we were at Howe ave.
and right now , ( after she's done in the bathroom ) We're heading to Reno for some work things I need to do and we'll be hitting Boca on the way back this afternoon.  Hoping to have them out as much as we can.

We used to have a 20' Pro Avenger boat, and getting this downsizing thing is a bit tough for me. i keep wanting to take everything. :smt010 .. I think it just takes time.... right?

So anyway.. Hello ! and thanks for having us.

Welcome.
yeah, the initial urge is to bring everything, but the downsizing is just part of the challenge.
I used to bring too little stuff (just 1 rod and 3-4 lures), then went through a phase where I brought too much stuff (3 tackle boxes, crate, FF etc).

The last few years I figured out the secret is to bring only what you can carry in two trips. First rip to the launch is for the kayak, second trip is for the gear, then you are ready to rig & launch. Done!
