Randy Fry "Big X" RFA Fundraiser Oct 8, 2011 (Ft Bragg)

This is a tournament put on by the Recreational Fishing Alliance, who do a lot for our rights as divers and fishermen, to fundraise and to commemorate the life of Randy Fry, one of the most active political voices for fishermen on the West Coast.

The tournament will be on Saturday October 8, 2011; sign in at 7am, check-out 1 pm.

It will be held at the Pacific Star Winery, 33000 Highway 1 (12 miles north of Fort Bragg). The winery is letting people camp there (with tournament entry fee), and will be letting people dive off the private property. I don't know how the structure is off of the winery, but with virtually no pressure I'd imagine the amount/size of fish and abs would be pretty good.

I believe they're also hosting a cook off afterwards, using ingredients gathered from diving in the tournament.

I'll be there, as it sounds like a lot of fun and good chance to help support the RFA.
