With all this salmon action going on along with some crappy forecast for the ocean, I'm going to make the drive up and try my luck out on the AR. Plus it'll be nice to enjoy fishing w/o all the ocean gear on lol  :smt003

Planning to leave Salinas by 4:30am and be out there by 7am. Look forward to meeting some of the brothers :D

I'm with you with regards to the crappy weather.
Wish I could join you Daniel. Nest week, I can find time again.
Good luck.

Going Fishing?
Winds from the south, hook in
    the mouth.
Wind from the east, bite the least.
Wind from the north, further off.
Wind from the west, bite the
    best.

Daniel,
You going to launch at Howe? I want to go too. I live right on your way if you'd like company, or I can drive myself. Give me a ring.

I'm using nothing but #5 Mepps flying c's. Yellow, orange are all I have, but they've been getting hit fine. I only average one hookup per day though. Others are probably catching on other stuff too. Oh yea, some pro-cure never hurts.

Also Sardine wrapped kwikfish (14/15) lower American section and (13) upper.  Colors are chartreuse/ silver and Red/orange like Rawyak said have been working pretty good.

Sorry for the late replies brothers, was busy getting work done before tomorrow's trip.

Kuya Danny, so far Sunday/Monday looks to be good for some ocean fishing :) I'll be in LA then for work, wish I could be enjoying the fishing! I do hope that you take advantage of it brother.

Jeff, I'm sorry but I'll be driving alone. Problem with me is that I could be fishing for only an hour (if some crap comes about) or I can go for 12+ hours past sunset lol! That way, I'm not committed to someone else's time. However, I really hope you make it out there :D Looking forward to meeting ya brother!

Jonathon hyung, I'm planning to launch from Howe (being that this is my 1st attempt ever on the AR  :smt003 ) I read some of our members recent post and saw that spinners in chartreuse/silver, kwikfish, blue fox/mepps #5 size have been all working. That's what I'll be bringing along with me, as well as Pro-cure sardine gel (since I don't wanna fiddle around too much with filet sardines which might bite me back in the ass lol).

With word of some big stripers cruising around, I'll be having a setup just for em :) When I get bored, I can switch it up!

Hope to meet y'all out there! :D

It's cool as long as your grenades are barbless.
