Hey all,
I am in need to a good fillet knife. Can you guys recommend a good one that is 50 bucks or under?

Heck yeah check out the dexter russel knives. They should run a little over twenty bucks maybe $25. They have a carbon blade wood handle that is awesome or a stainless with a plastic handle for a little more.

You could also check out the the forshner or the victorinox brand if you don't like the dexters. I have a rapala brand fillet knife which is great for halibut because it has a skinnier blade which makes it easy to follow the spine and rib bones.

Lots of good knives out there for cheap.

Thanks Eliot! Dexter Russel came up with Striper Slayer earlier so with two recommendations that's the route I think i will go!
