Be careful anchoring up there...the water is fast and there are a couple of submerged trees that'll give you hell. I'd suggest anchoring between the old fair oaks bridge and sunrise ave...the fish roll through the shallows early in the morning so you dont need to be fishing deep. Good luck!

i was thinking of hitting the AR tomorrow evening around six pm.  I wanted to put in around Commerce Gardens ... but that water is way to fast.  Is there a good place just west of there?  I was hoping to fish west of the fairgrounds and soak and/or back bounce a kwick fish in some of the holes (somewhere between Cap city frwy and 160).  where can i put in near there?  anyone interested?
Matt, striper slayer... any advice?
