Yeah, I release 'em too.. I was actually gonna give this particular one to Chuck but he didn't want it so it ended up winning it's freedom  :brave:
I never had carp - I hear they are very bony and not worth eating. Any truth to that?

I know that the British take carp fishing seriously.....bank fishing - that is.

my wife is from slovakia and each xmas the thing to do in the eastern european countries is to get a live carp from the store or lakes and eat it for xmas dinner. when i was there i would go each morning, buy some bread and go to the river which runs through town and feed them. here is the river:

They are.....if you have a gold fish living in a small fish bowl, it will remain small - because of it's habitat. But if you release the same fish out in the wild (lake), it will grow...like hair on a hobit's foot  :smt003
