As said by the great Ice Cube "today was a good day". I got a email from a good friend (won't mention any names) that I could come by today to pimp out my new Necky Vector 13. There aren't to many reviews to go off since this is a fairly new boat. I needed the help of a pro/guru.

Things that were done to the boat today:

3 Scotty fush mounts
6" rear hatch
Fish Finder
Cool graphics for the new ride.

The Necky comes with a mesh bag and at first we were going to remove the bag but thats when my buddy stepped in, I like to call him "G" as in pure gangster. He had a great idea of leaving the mesh bag and putting the fish finder inside of it. This would allow to be able to stow it away when needed on the water and to also remove it when finished while still leaving the mesh bag for storing items.

The two flush mounts on the back will work great for trolling and using a DR. The Flush mount in the front will be great and is easy to remove if needed. The boat came without a rear hatch, so I added a 6" hatch which fits perfect in the spot designed by necky.

Like I said today was good day. I finally have a boat that I can call my own and is rigged for fishing. I don't have to fish blind anymore and the kayak has a great feeling.

Thanks "G" and to my brother Eric for helping out today.

The first picture is the Kayak at Caples with nothing added.

I have taken it out on the delta a few times and out at caples lake. I am looking forward to getting it in the salt. I had a cobra Navigator and the Marauder before and this boat just works so much better for me. Its got some great speed to it. I also like the fact that I could add what I wanted to it since it was a blank canvas.

Nice  clean install! Glad you finally got it done! It rivals some of my work.... and you brother has got some skills too!

Now go out and spill some blood on that clean deck! And let's go paddling together soon!
