It was a great opener up here in the far end of the valley, took probably 20 rounds to get my groove but after that they were raining!  Even got my first Eurasian.  Anybody else make it out?

Nice shooting!
I was in bed listening the the guns going off out in the country.
Those sounds bring back good childhood hunting memories! :smt001
I too got all my paperwork done but need to get after them dove, and deer, and pigs, and...
It's just this kayak fishing thing has taken over my free time lately! :smt044

Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Glad to hear some other good reports...went back out this morning, much slower as expected but still awesome to see the sunrise over the fields, that always seems to be my signal that summer is over and fall is here.

Nice brace o birds there!

Afraid I won't be up at Almanor, but will be up on McCumber just out of Shingletown tomorrow for a family day.

Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.
