I've seen lots of fish rolling at the outlet hole in th last few weeks. Can't fish there though. Need to be 1000 ft below the outlet. There re a couple easy launches below there. Get off of the levee road when you see a couple rocky paths down to the water. 3-5 easy places to launch. There is one little off shoot where there always seems to be fish hanging out. You will know what I mean when you find it. Always use Blue Fox's up there, but I am sure Mepps will work too. Good luck, I will be at a meeting on Sat.might be able to try Sun morn if you are up for it. Early and then I need to get home to prepare for a race all next week in Vegas.

I talked to a drift boat guy tonight on the AR when I was launching and he said that he has been limiting on the Feather around Gridley.

It will not open up for salmon. You can fish it for steelhead, but if it looks like you have salmon gear on your rig you will more than likely be cited if checked. You can only fish the Feather from 1000 yds below the outlet to the mouth for salmon. It is marked on the river side, but not well on the bank.
