Camping weekend of 27th Caspar

I'm gonna be camping with the herd arriving Friday leaving Monday at Caspar rv spot to be determined on arrival. Anyway momma says I can no go out alone, plan on diving and fishin if anyone's around let's hook up.

Is this for rockfish?  The F&G site I looked at did not say anything about a closure....but I am up in Humboldt county.

Anyone heard any word on if there are any salmon holding in the fort bragg area, or possible scouting trip?

Fort Bragg:
Private anglers continue to work the bottom for salmon off of the Whistle Buoy with blue or purple haze hootchies behind large dodgers. Larger fish have been found further north near the shoreline off of Ten Mile Beach on Wednesday 8-17. It is a good thing that the salmon are still biting, since the local rockfish season ended for the year on Monday.

I  might be up there over the weekend and would be happy to hook up for a bit. Depending on who comes with me, I might not be able to bring my kayak so it would either be a shore based dive for me or possiblty rent a yak from the parking lot at Van Dam. How are your plans shaping up James?

i have no plans as of yet I'm taking the yak and the board so I'm not stuck either way I'm originally from the area up there so i know alot of good spots to shore base from as well as some good yak spots, if your in the area we should definitely hook up.
