The shad raps and broken backs work good. I've had the best luck on kastmasters and crocodiles......just make sure u have loos drag for trout and when u feel a strike keep paddling to set the hook. Good luck!

rat-l-traps and crocs and swim baits and raps with the spilt backs work great for kayak trolling.

Use your Y0-zuris,BB Rebels, and P-Line predators lures.  They troll just fine for me.  Maybe try a wire spreader with a 1 oz. hair raiser jig 18" from the bottom of the spreader and a Yo-zuri 3-4 ft behind the hair raiser.  By the way I haven't found any "strippers" in the Delta but I did get flashed by a cute and very drunk blonde two weeks ago!

I'll try that thankyou.

That's what I usually did from boats I always figured a kayak was to slow for lead heads

If you are trolling for "strippers" in the Delta a dollar bill will work just fine, loosen your drag.....

Make sure to match the hatch!  Low end, $1's and 5's will be fine; high end, $20's and 50's will work well.
