SC salmon search

After seeing a few salmon caught by capitola rentals in the last week or so, I had to have a look. Launched out of SC at 7, and headed out and down into bay. Fished off of soquel pt. in about 70 - 90 ft, and down into bay a mile and a half or so. Ended up catching 1.5 shakers, one the smallest I've ever caught in salt, about 12", the second just about an inch short. Painful to let that one go. Caught on a green glow hootchie behind a 6" dodger on a deep six diver about 50 ft down. Maybe next time
