I can't make up my mind, (which is why I usually don't post hookups),

Made up my mind-------------Going to be at Timber Cove 6-7am launch,

Wind and seas should be great on Wed just about anywhere on the coast (if the forecast holds)

There are a few halis being caught around Hog Is, in Tomales bay
And the rockies, cabs and lings are cooperative out of Timber Cove,

Anybody interested in either one? Both are easy launches,

NOAA keeps bumping up the wind forcast for the area, last nite it was 8kt, this morning it was 10, now it says 11kt, but still looking good in the am.

If there are people that want to show at TC then that's where I'll head, if there aren't any definites either way I think it'll be Tomales.

Timber Cove is just above Ft Ross on hiway 1, there is no sign for the place but it's a bunch of trailers on the west side of hiway 1 after Ft ross but just before the Timber Cove Inn.

The Tomales Bay / Hog Island launch is called miller park and is at Nick's Cove.

What's your experience level??? Timber Cove fishing is open ocean with all it's associated hazards,  if you don't wear either a wetsuit or full dry suit, don't go there.

Tomales Bay is pretty protected and you're never more than about a half mile from a friendly shore, but it's very prone to strong winds.

Not trying to preach, but please read our safety section then decide whats, best for you.

Or maybe you're more experienced and better prepared than I but I don't recognize the handle.

Chances for ocean salmon are a rare thing in a kayak. Tomales is always there.....

O.K. I am in for ocean fishing somewhere north of the river. I will be at T.C. if someone posts back they're going to be there.....otherwise I may launch at one of a couple other locations. So let me know if you're down for T.C. I will be looking to get up there around 5:30am and launch after 6am. jim

Weather report currently says wind will be 1kt at 6am, and stay down most of the day, building in the afternoon to about 6kt at 3pm, seas 3 ft, can't pass that up.

I should be at TC by 7 maybe earlier but don't count on it,

C U in the morning @ Timber Dale. Ch 69 if I'm not still on the beach. Also watch out for any undesirables lurking about the beach ie: Kayakjack & Co.  :smt004
