Yesterday co-worker & I took a trip into Jerusalem,  went into the old city, got to see "The wall"
Today we took a tour offered by our hotel, into Nazarath, then the sea of Galilee, followed by a visit to the Batismal place on the Jordan River.
While in Nazarath, we visited the home of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, an underground dewlling (Cave) couldn't enter it as the gate at the opening was closed and remains closed most days.  But WOW!  Never did I expect to see such a place.
Saw a rock, that Jesus reportadly stood on and preached something, It was inclosed in a church.  (See picture) the shot thats green, is the actual opening into the main room of their dewling.
I'm not a religious person, but I could sense the importance of that place! To know mother Mary walked there?  WOW.
The Sea of Galilee, was not to impressive.  It's a fresh water lake.  The water was very warm to the touch, The tour guide mentioned that the water is "Sweet" tasting.  I didn't test this.  It was warm though.
The River Jordan, at the Baptismal site, initionally was impressive, until I got to see all the construction equipment fouling the scenery.  Restoration was in progress, The public access area was not affected by work, and lots of people were taking dips.  The water there was warm as well.
OMG, miles and miles of olive trees!

It's 10pm here now and I work tomorrow, I'm off to bed.
More later....

Underneath it is maybe the stone that Jesus stood on and preached from?  I dunno but that's my guess.

Very cool stuff all the way around!  Hope to see more reports in the future.

Yes,the stone in the floor, was used by him to elevate him while he spoke.  Of course the floor and table over it were not there in his time.
