Hey guys, I fish with the Delta bass club and we host a yearly club classic tournament for ALL bass clubs to compete for the NO.1 spot and other prizes. It is on Oct 15th and this year, the invitation is extended to non-powered boats such as tubes and yaks so I thought I'd pass the invitation on to you guys. While there will be many PBs, my experience fishing from my yak tells me that there are times when a yaker can definitely kick a PB's butt, especially this time of the year when limited distance from a yak may not be much of a factor because the fish are in tight places that in many cases can only be accessed from a smaller craft. And the best part is we launch out of Russo's where hundreds of fish are released in weekly tournaments. Guess where they would hang out after that?

Please check out the link below for rules and registration and more info or feel free to send any questions my way.

BTW: this is purely a fun event where you'll also get to meet some cool people with similar passion and interests.

The only problem I see is the live well requirement. If we can get a crew together I would not mind trying this out. It looks we need to have 12 anglers to qualify.

That is a good point, I actually brought up this issue in our last meeting.

Yes, 12 anglers are required, and it's 2 per team and have to be close to each other, which could work out as far as live well requirement. It's 5 fish limit between the 2 so I thought it wouldn't be too bad to have the 2 or 3 fish on a stringer per each angler, in the water next to the yak.

I'm currently in the top 12 (11 th place) and qualified for the event with one more tournament to go on Aug 6th. If I end up doing bad and don't end up qualifying, I will definitely fish with NCKA.

Hey guys,
So I made the top 12 in my club so I'll be fishing with them. If any of you guys are still interested but don't have the 12-person team, maybe these guys here http://www.bass-n-tubes.com might be interested, just thought you'd like to know.
