I'm thinking of going up to Tahoe this weekend with Omar to do some Biking and Fishing.  Most likely in North Tahoe but South Tahoe will do if necessary.

I've only fished the laske once, last year in September I think, so I'm looking for some info. How's the fishing during this time of the year?

I'm planning on giving Captain Bob from the "Reel Deal" a call to charter his boat if he's available.   Are there any other recommendations?

Also, any leads on a hotel that will have a place to lock our bikes up or wont have an issue with us leaving them in the room?  We just got back from a camping trip out by Pinecrest so I'm hoping to sleep in a bed for this trip.

I'm going to have my boy with me and I don't think he's ready to paddle in the salt...so yeah for this year I'd rather go to Tahoe than Albion.  I'm sure Albion will be fun as hell though.

Do you have any info on Tahoe?   :smt003

For those who've never met Omar.......as Angel will tell you, when given the option of vacationing anywhere in the western hemisphere the boy chose Vegas and wouldn't be talked out of it.  Me thinks albion may lack the excitement young Omar commands.

When you're up there check the rates at the ski resorts for lift tickets and downhill rentals.......we need to run a trip up sans children to bomb down cliffs.
..........agarcia is just an ex-kayaker

Hey Pacifico fishing the lake is tuff but if you troll down deep with minnows usually 120' to 180' depth is where the macks are at, try right along drop offs where the water goes from like 50' to 60' right off to 120'. Usually early morning is the best bite! Troll the shores of rocky structure bottom such as cave rock here on the east side of SLT for big browns and rainbows. you can also catch your own minnows with a trap and dog food or you can grab some from the sportsman on your way through! hope this helps! :smt006
