Chaeki, his buddy Heesup, and I are shorediving PG/Otter's tomorrow morning.  Will be in the water by about 8am. Post up or PM if you can make it and we'll coordinate.

Chaeki, Nice job out there today!  You guys were killing it.  The vis didn't look too bad either for otters these days.

I've got a spear shaft stuck over at SWS.  I could really use your expertise at getting it unstuck!!

Excellent work and great video.

Chris, nice stringer of fish and congrats on your first MFE! I just realized this weekend that I have your ab gauge from last time at Fort Ross. Let me know how to best get it back to you.

Nice vid, Chaeki.  I'm still amazed at how flat the water was yesterday.  Literally like a lake.  Some surge around pinnacles (as always) but also along the ground.  The fish were certainly hunkered down deep in holes/cracks/ledges.  Must be due to the mixed swell lately.  Amazingly enough, I'm fairly certain I spotted a copper rockfish under a ledge along with a couple other RF (where my shaft got stuck in your vid).  Quite a variety of species that day.  I think we saw most everything except ling and cabbie.  You even scored a very nice kelp greenling.  Glad you got that shot of my MFE on vid.  Incredible how much meat are on those fish.  I've heard only good things about how they taste and I look forward to trying a few recipes.  Then I'll be on the hunt for more I'm certain...

Ha! Yep, not a big deal.  I've been making due with my legally-required 7" plastic doo-hickey.  But I'd like to target some 9"+ next time I head up north :)  Caspar on Sept 16th & 17th if you'll be there.
