Gave feather style several tries but end up back to the un-feather!

When I took classes at MBK, all of their paddles were feathered (cant recall which side) and after an hour or so it felt perfectly natural and really liked it.  However, every time I've tried it feather on my Hobie paddle (3-position click type) it never feels right, and have always ended up switching back within a few minutes.

Totally agree with Terry. On the left it feels wierd , on the right more natural. I use the feather option when paddling into the wind only. Then unfeathered at the other times. I have more instant knee jerk control that way when fighting a fish and need to reposition.

Feathered - more or less simply got used to it. Still slice the water sometimes on a quick start.
