I am not worthy. I am  not worthy!
AWESOME JOB FUZZ. You have serious game!
Sounds like you had fun even after the diving was over. :smt028 :smt030
What did you do with all that meat? How many pounds was it all?
I am so jazzed for getting in the water right now I can't stand it.
Once again, congrats!

Flattering, but I got no game... just a newbie that got lucky.   ;)

We ate fish every night down there.  A lot was given away - to locals, my dive partners, friends, & co-workers.  The few left were filleted/deboned/skinned/vacuum-sealed and are currently resting in my freezer.  They won't last long there.  :-)

The hardest part was getting back to work...  :busy

Fuzz,
Is that Gonzaga?  I drove down there about 15 years ago.  It looks kind of familiar.  I would love to hook up and go diving with you sometime.  I live up in Santa Rosa.

Fuzz,

Great report!  Can I ask if your dive sites were within kayaking distance of the mainland?

Thanks,

Dave

Dave(bigeyedave),

We launched up north at Puertocitos but did stay at Gonzaga for a couple nights to bed down.  The shore pics were from there.  This was more of an exploring trip than pounding known spots so we dove a few random areas over ~60 miles... one of the reasons we took a boat instead of renting pangas.  Good eye!  :smt004

Dave(pescadore),

We stopped at a seamount for an hour the first day to shoot dinner, but almost everything else was within 100 yards of shore.  We did dive off one of the Enchanted Islands (Islas Encantadas), but even then it was relatively close to shore.  I'd say spots were all accessible by kayak; however, winds can be unpredictable there so that would be a very important factor in planning kayak trips.  :smt001

Fuzz,  Thanks for the info.  My Inlaws have a campo down near San Felipe.  i've been meaning to get down there.  your pics have put some fire under my butt to make it so.
