Mooch and I met up at about 8:00 to launch for the Brisbane tubes.  Water was clear but just as we were unloading our Yaks, a gust of wind almost blew us over.  We decided to blind cast for a while but zilch.  My reel wasn't working either which didn't help.  It is a shimano Catala and when I have the button down ready to cast it won't free spool.   :smt009  Any Ideas?

My Corsair did the same thing. I had to roll the spool backwards just a tad for the free-spool button to go all the way down.

I almost killed my buddy one time trying to fling a 6oz pyramid. The freespool didn't engage and the sinker came flying back at us. It went in between the two of us. Missed me by about two feet...missed him by inches.

This has been a crummy March to say the least.  However you could call the wind a stroke of luck being that my reel didn't work. Saved me a lot of trouble in the long run.
