I'm gonna be at Dillon's Beach on Saturday for my buddy's 30th.  Anyone have tips on fishing around these parts?  I haven't had a chance to research much.  Anything is appreciated.  :smt006

There's a possibility of halibut just outside the surf zone.....right where the great white was seen last week.

Personally, I'd surf fish from shore and try to get in on the pretty damn good perch bite that's been going off there.

A surfer friend of mine calls Dillon's Beach shark ally.

That is where I see plenty of PB'ers trolling for halis, usually later in the summer, I've thrown my trusty anchovy storm into the surf for no avail.

I've also seen a Thresher (small ) caught there too....

was there really a GWS right off the beach there?  it's really damm shallow...

I'm out there quite frequently with my boys...

thanks fellas!  The wind forcast isn't looking good either.  I'll be up there with the yaks, but will "play it by ear" once I get there.  I have seen a bunch of GWS info related to that area.   :smt009  Thanks for the responses, if anything I'll try for eels at the jetty!!!

South of Hog or just outside for Threshers

You can always fish for leopards on the anchor, I've done well down by Marshall, that's way too far to paddle, it's even quite a drive, no quick way around, I think there's some good leopard fishing not too far from lawsons, but you'd have to ask them.
