Right now out of a skiff you can go for stripers, halibut, lings and rockfish. Talk to Ed when you rent the skiff and he'll give you an update.

If you guys decide to try for stripers at NB you might want to head more towards Seacliff because of all the kelp, unless you like clearing your line every few minutes. Hopefully the swell from last weekend has died down and there won't be as much loose kelp out there.

My buddy and I are headed to either Cap or SC on Monday for butts and maybe rockies. I'll keep an ear on 69 in case anyone else is around. Everyone have a safe and fish-ful holiday weekend!

   Sorry to say I'll be avoiding Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley, and all points of land that get wet like there infected with the plauge this weekend!  Hwy17 is going to be one long narrow parking lot, Hwy 1 might not be much better.  Even tough I  travel backroads, the amount of San Jose folks in town this weekend will tie every road up  guaranteed!
