Fort Ross on 6/25 or 6/26?

Anyone planning on putting in at FR this weekend? I'll be camping on the Russian River and if the weather is nice, would like to give FR a try. Admittedly, I'm a bit new and could use a little "local knowledge" and company out there. If you're planning on fishing there, let me know

Sounds fun!

I was just camping on the Russian River this past weekend and said I was going to hit the ocean but ended up just playing on that river. Had a blast floating down with the family with lots of good scenery  all day. Water was great and will look to do another kayak trips again this summer.

I'm in.  Plan to hit FR this Sunday (6/26).  I will have company with me and repost a hookup as the days draw near and mother nature permit as well as OTW time .  I'll hit you up, bro.

Awesome, I was planning on meeting up with Auburn Trout Dude around 6:00AM (if the park is open that early). I don't think cells work there, but will turn on my radio (chn 69). I'll do my wind dance to calm the seas a bit. . .

Hey Jimbo, awesome news on your river trip! I can hardly wait. I'm fishing FR on Saturday (my first time) and doing a river cruise with the family on Sunday (also a first). If all goes well, I hope to be enjoying some fish tacos by the campfire. . .

Whoops, sorry, looks like we are meeting at the FR launch at 5:00am (not 6am). Hope to see some others there as well.

If conditions stay descent I'll make it out there.

Looks like Sunday will be my only chance this weekend. The parks department opened the gate last Saturday just after 7am. You can park on the road though. It's only about a mile portage.

alrighty then, double workout!!!... I'm so gonna sleep good sunday night   .  I have a couple of people coming with me too.  My first time back at the Fort in.. forever.  Hope to see you there, Chad and Kiel 

Sunday: NW wind 14 to 20 kt. Patchy fog before 11am. Mixed swell...WNW 4 ft at 7 seconds and SW 3 ft at 15 seconds. Wind waves around 2 ft.

I think I am going to sit this one out fells and collect some WAF . Just got back from a whirlwind 17 hour trip to the PIF in Monterey. Great time there. Good luck and hopefully the weather man is wrong again. I could always change my mind in the morning
