Anyone want to get wet?/Berry bass/crappie 6/5

I'm taking off for Berry/Capell Cove this afternoon. No sailing allowed  I'll be back in the creek arm trees or nearby coves. Rubber worms/slash baits/minnows et al. Got a couple of lights as well if I stay late.

Damn sorry I didn't see this Mistral.  I was thinking Berry today but ended up giving the Delta a go just to mix it up.  If you're up in the Berry on a weekend, give me a PM, I am always down for the Berry!

I got to laugh at that "anyone want to get wet?" line. It never rained on the lake while I was fishing but I ended up falling out of my kayak head first at about 1030 pm. Slipped while trying to stand up and lost it big time. Big splash    Soaked to the bone, including my wallet.

No crappies. Saw one nice bass (4 pounds +/-) swimming way back in the flooded trees. Didn't seem interested in my minnow.  I did catch about a  15 inch rainbow trout while crappie fishing on the deep edge of the trees . Odd looking fish. Healthy but very skinny.

Roughster, I fish Berry probably too much but I will let you know if I'm going on a weekend. Something about that lake just keeps bringing me back.
