Have any of you guys caught Halibut in SanPablo Bay ( I launch in Pinole) or should I drive down and launch at Richmond? I'm looking to go this afternoon.

I think Richmond would be better. Lot's of good spots to hit there. Either that or Paradise in Tiburon would be even better. More protected from the weather too.

Thanks. I haven't been to Tiburon. Are the currents strong over there and where's the easy launch?

Easy launch is paradise park right at the base of the fishing pier. Currents can be strong depending on tide but it's protected from the wind.

One of the nicest places to fish on the bay in my opinion.

Paradise park is a good place to fish. I haven't heard that the bite has picked up there yet, but i could be wrong.
I would bring a good set of wheels as you will need to pull your kayak down to the launch site.

Hi Yakers:

The Staff at Paradice is the past would allow you to drive down
to the Ramp in the Am. I had no Wheels so, the Staff helped me with their Tote
Goat back up top to the Parking. Nice Peeps and I don't mind paying the fee.
