Anyone fishing around norcal next week? I have a scrambler stashed up at the cabin on Copco lake and was thinking of taking it out. I'm definitely hitting Trout Lake outside of Montague on Wed. (only open weekends and wed) for some bass. Also thinking of hitting the lower section of Hat Creek one day and maybe taking the kayak on Baum the other. Going up Friday and will be solo most of the time if anyone wants a tour of Copco Lake or the river above.  Monday going with a guide on the Keno stretch of the Klamath even with the high flows.

Usually I'd just focus on streams this time of year but the flows are all f-d up.

Just throwing it out there, hollah if interested.

Dang I and thought I heard of most bodies of water but never heard of any of these places except Klamath. You should probably re-name this extremely Nor cal hookup :smt044

LOL, Done...

Not expecting anyone really but just thought I'd throw it out there. Normally it's trout heaven up there this time of year but this year it will be tough. I have my secret spots and I'll catch fish but it will be alot tougher than normal. Got some intel that the big salmon flies are popping on the hat...mmmmm

Yeah, the flows are really high right now.  Had some friends who stayed up at Manzanita Lake over the weekend and they woke up to 6" of fresh snow, so Hat will be jamming.  It's my anniversary weekend, so no WAF for me but there's a few lucky dogs up here who might be able to get out with you.  Weather looks really nice for next week.  Might give Iron Canyon a thought too, and the Britton crappie should be waking up.

Britton smallies and crappie crossed my mind too. No shortage of stillwater options up there but I like the rivers better. I'm leaving the back end of next week open since the best weather will probably be then. I'll try and post a couple of reports while I'm up there when I have internet access.
