I'm on facebook. My kids told me recently that they opened an account for me 

  GREAT way to keep up with what your family members and friends are doing.  Also a great way to reconnect with old school and work friends.  From my blackberry I can select sent to facebook for any photos that I take and they are sent right to the mobile uploads file, and stored for me in case I loose them.  I can't recommend this site enough.  I have already reconnected with dozens of old friends!

For all of you uninformed Facebookers, a new privacy policy, called "Instant Personalization," started today, which EVERYTHING you and EVERYWHERE you go on the Internet can be monitored by friends and strangers alike. The default setting is set to "Allow."

If you want to change the setting, go to Account > Privacy Settings > Applications and Websites and uncheck "Allow".

Here's an FYI for all you Facebookers. Avoid foul language there.

Facebook is rolling out new scripts that are targeting identification of foul language, racial slurs, and other offensive / abusive comments and those that have evidence on their walls will be removed from Facebook. Also, if a group is found to have any abusive language on any of its walls it will also be removed.

I just recently deleted my FB account because I saw a demo of what some hackers could pull from the database... Ugh, EVERYTHiNG...  My main concern was my families phone number, names, etc.. Just enough info to do all sorts of bad things.
