Sports authority GRAND OPENING Monterey/Sand City

I went to the grand opening of the new store in Sand City to check out the inventory,what a dissappointment.
Except for about a dozen kayaks there was NO FISHING EQUIPTMENT at all!!!
 No rods,reels,lures, NOTHING ! I'm thinking, WTF a couple hundred yards from the beach and nothing,nada,squat!   I'll bet Outdoorworld and Big5 are jumping up and down 
 I can tell you now, I WON'T be going back 

Lame!

Shoot, even the CVS on the westside in Santa Cruz has a decent selection of fishing tackle (gamakatsu hooks, powerpro braid, sabikis, some salmon stuff)

For shame Sports Authority! Booooooo!

Yeah, they definitely aren't a fishing friendly store. The Union City one got rid of their whole fishing department! Wtf!

Not surprised! REI in Fort Ord doesnt even have any tackle either and is WAY over priced.

Yea it sucks, no hunting or fishing but they got a Sheet load of shoes if you're looking for shoes
