Here is a video of me surfing my sea kayak in the San Juans.

Let me know when you want to go surf the wave during this summer. I have a Ocean Kayak Big Yak that I use probably 1-2 times a week to play around in the stationary wave.

If there is any interest, I would love to put on a down river clinic sometime for the kayak fishing community.
As far as a river clinic I ended up taking the Sac crew guys out this winter for some steelhead fishing and we had a blast. We ended up BBQ'ing and BS'ing afterwards. Its definitely a jem in our own backyard.

Very cool, we should hook up for sure. I miss it up there. I'm down in Lodi now and although we have a great river with great fishing, the play spots aren't as big and fun.

I would definitely be interested in learning anything about the American River.   That wave surfing looks like a real rush.   Count me in for a river clinic.

As to exchange for striper fishing lessons, my experience is limited to fly fishing for stripers in the delta, but i am happy to show you whatever i know.
