First batch done. Need to do Bloodbaths and Sunny's.....7 50's and 1 25'er. Learned a few tricks after each one. You all will need to warm them in the sun a bit and give them a good stretch. They have some memory after being on the spool for god knows how long.

Please add one more for me: 35ft x 3/8" OD.   Thanks Eric.
Oh sure be different....Will do!

Once you go the "custom made" round, might as well custom made the length  :smt003

the 50's are so long I have to blow paint from both ends. Shouldn't have that issue with the 35 foot ones....

Damn! I just got around to checking up on this thread, is it too late to change my order to 50'. That's what all the pros are doing! If not, it's perfectly fine, I can live with 25', but if it's not too late, I'd like to bump up to 50'. I don't want you to have to do any extra work, so if you've already done mine it's all good. Thanks Eric! I appreciate it!

Hey Eric, I have a couple of commercial lines and I had some extra hardware so I decided to make my own. I used 1400 lb tuna cord (way overkill) because I had it left over from a destroyed float line. It was tough because I had to tie the line instead of crimping. Cord that big makes big knots. Anyway, I didn't have an air compressor so I used a shop vac to try to suck the paint through. The cord was thick so it made it hard to get the paint through. I ended up in the front yard swinging the tubing as hard as I could in every direction getting the paint to go through. The neighbors probably thought I was crazy. I ended up with a very strong floatline with very bright orange paint but it has about a 6 foot section in the middle that is clear because I couldn't get the paint all the way through.
Everybody dies, not everybody lives. What did you do today?

I've been there!

Nice work Eric!  If I didn't already have a couple orange ones I'd be placing an order too.

yeah even with the compressor on 100PSI its a bitch. One of my lessons was to blow the paint when it was cool out. When it was hot the paint dries too fast....I still need to find some non rattle can paint. Spraying into a tube is messy biz!
