4-25-11 Salmon fishing Bodega Bay (non kayak)... Skunked

Jumped at the chance to go on a 6 pack boat with some friends from wonk on Monday. Only had to go about 4 miles out to find brown water, trolled using frozen anchovies for the whole day with only 2 shakers and lost a 10 or 12 pounder lost at the side of the boat. The only other boat that went out that day didn't fair much better.

Welcome aboard, Guess it's been a bit slow in Bodega. We went out for sea trials (blowing 25-30) on the "new" boat last week and drug a couple lines just to check out the downriggers. One ldr for about a 20 minute troll. The "new" boat is sweet...more on that later.
