Well, I think it is time to deposit some sturgeon hours. I was thinking of launching
at the 9th Street Benicia public ramp then kayak across to the other side around
Post Costa. I have never fished that side of the straight. A Friend said that people
have been catching sturgeon there but then again, it's fishing. Just never know
until you wet your line. We might get lucky and catch a by catch striper. :smt002
Company welcome. If you have a second rod stamp, you can fish two rods. Just
food for thought. :smt002

What time do you plan to launch Jed?  I'm tentative at this point but I'm seriously thinking of breaking my no weekend fishing rule.  The yak has been dry, far too long.  I think I have some eel in the freezer.

Hey Martin, I'm thinking around 7:30 am. I need to start looking for my sturgeon rigs and make some
kind of plan how to land that sturgeon in that kind of water current. I'm getting excited, I hope we
do land one.

Sorry I have to pull the plug on this one fellas. With that kind of wind plus the strong current that flows through there, our safety should always come first. The next Saturday is a better tide condition for sturgeon
anyways.

Thanks Jed.  I agree, the conditions aren't right.  We'll make it happen next time.
