I'm bouncing between chasing halibut somewhere in the bay and trolling for trout at San Pablo on Saturday. Probably won't decide for sure until tomorrow night. If you see a guy out there in a blue Ocean Kayak, say hello!

What kind of setup are you guys trolling for trout? I've caught some off the shore with worms and powerbait but I just got a kayak and have only caught striper out of bigbreak so far.

I don't troll for trout often, but I'll probably try a jointed rapala. They've worked for me before.

Called the marina this morning. The guy said the lake has cleared a little in the last 2 weeks, but is still murky. I was there 2 weeks ago and it was brown, but people were catching trout soaking bait. May still be too murky for good trolling, but I think I'll go anyway.
