Went solo today out of Monterey. Left San Leandro around 4:30am this morning and arrived down at the Coast Guard ramp around 6:30am. Pulled in the lot and there were only about 4 trailers in there. Launched the boat and made my way out to Pt. Pinos around 7:00am. Put the line in just after the red bouy in 300' h2o.  Point the bow south and started trolling.  I had the blue kajiki on at first but after about 2 hours no taker. Decided to change up so I put the Purple haze hoochie and after about 5 minute, first fish in the net. Lower the rig back as I started to clean the first fish, the reel started screaming "fish on". Pushed the first fish on the side and try to get the second one in the net. Finally second fish in the net. Unbelievable, 2 fish within 20 minutes and I was stoked.  I was fishing in 310' of h2o and 125' OTW. Hot lure was the Purple Haze Hoochie. I was done before 10:00 and was back at the ramp at 10:30. It was a little rough out there but manageable. Fry Salmon and Sinigang soup for dinner, the other one is in the brine waiting for the smoker tomorrow. Here are some pics.

You didn't go fishing, you went catching.
That was a great job you did there. Out at 7 back at 10, whoaaaa.

Congrats.

I recognized those delicious dishes.  Nothing like cooking and eating salmon the day you catch it.  Just taste so much better.  Good fishing and glad to see you get limits going that early and that far.
