Bluekayak what parts did you use to install your middle rod-holder?
Did you use a stainless steel wood screws?  Or was it a nut, and washer and bolt setup?

I'm trying to install the exact same setup.  The scotty mount rod holder has 4 holes for the screws.
In the bottom 2 holes, I was able to use the washer, nut, and screw, but the top 2 holes have tight space underneath.
Maybe I need to use smaller parts, or just use size 14 wood screws.

Thanks

Thanks, I appreciate that.

Actually the new T160i has a small center hatch which makes it easier to put my arm underneath and use a small tool to tighten the nuts and bolts.  (You see, the T160i does have some nice features to it.)

Yes, the new model has a different shape seat.  Did you notice the small center hatch?  I was able to tighten the bolt with my hand underneath through the center hatch,  In the pics you could see the dust that was left behind from drilling holes.

These guys like the comfort.
