I'm thinking about fishing sturgeon tomorrow but haven't decided exactly where yet. HELP me make my mind up. China camp area or Montezuma. Both have near by bait shops but CC parking lot doesn't open till 8:00am.   What do you guys think?

Marcos, I got a sweet spot up cache sl/ Liberty island and the parking is free and launch whenever! The sturgeon are always up there and ive been meaning to get backup there. The bait shops in rio vista are opened super early and the spot is good from getting out of bad weather too. let me know what you think, ricci.

I could try Thursday Ricci I think. I'll even bring you a paddle. If you go out Wed i can drop off paddle to you, but it would probably be too late.

Thanks for the suggestion Ricci, but I'm going to hit-up CC tomorrow. Lets do Cache/Liberty soon though.

I have never fished for strugi's from a yak. Flashfishing, a guide on Coastside, has been fishing SPB. He has been catching HELLA fish. Again not sure exactly where he is fishing but you may want to check into it. Good luck!!
