Yes it is. The deep water is very close to shore, and so are the pelagics.

Agreed, shortest paddle to wahoo alley. South point can be technical and dangerous tho. Andy1976 can PM you the details on launch sites and tactics. I have kayak fished Kauii and Oahu but have only caught bonefish and jacks. JTF is on Maui
