Port of sacramento 4-5-11

I am going to try the Port of Sacramento this afternoon after work.  should be there by 4pm.
I have never fished there before, so any tips you have would be appreciated.  i assume the only place to put in, is off Jefferson Blvd (?).  i see a few stripes have been pulled out recently.
Hope so meet some of you guys OTW some time.
