I cannot say whether this will be "the moment" a lifelong fisherman is born, but I GUARANTEE that it is a moment a father and son will never forget.

Wow, thank you for sharing this beautifully written story that will be remembered by you and your son forever. To this day, I still remember my father taking me fishing when I was only 5 yrs old. Since then, fishing became my love and passion.

Wtg on getting Hayden addicted to this madness. As for Hayden, that is one hellavu striper young man!!  :smt007

For those of you who don't already know, the hog of the month voting has opened and Hayden is one of 5 entries for the month of March.  He's currently second in the voting and since it's not the biggest fish in the contest, we need some help getting his votes boosted.  If you have a minute, please follow the link below and vote for a great story and a great fish.

Thanks I'm sure in large part to this proactive community - Hayden destroyed the competition for the Hawg of the Month contest.  Please expect another call to arms when voting opens for the year end contest.

Thanks to everyone who voted, Hayden is really thrilled.
