The forecasted 15' waves were a no-show.  It was sunny, warm, and lightly-breezy, just a beautiful day to be out on water.  Visibility around the Fort not too good; about 4'.  Lots of particles in water.  I think I could've taken 3 legal abs on the first dive-down; but took 10 minutes to get my 3 abs to 8.5".

I was diving at Fort Ross but my guess is condition is same everywhere along that whole stretch.  Murky water makes it hard to see fish so I abandoned my spearfishing attempt.  That was the only disappointment today.

Congrat on the Ab limit on opening day!  Thanks for the report Bluestar.

WTG on the ab limit! I seriously thought this was an April Fools when I read it. I've heard that further north, in the Mendo area, it's really blown out. That's awesome that you found good conditions and got out safely.
