NCKA,

Any good places to fish from shore around sac I will be coming up in a few weeks for a test for a job and want to do some fishing after the test if I have time. Not sure if I am going to lug the kayak up that way or not probably not.

Thank you,
Ryan

Bring a big surf rod that can sling 12oz of lead and u can catch a sturgeon on the sac river.

pickin's are a little slim right now, with all the flooding and all...  There is even a downpour right now as I type.

Folsom might be decent.  Mather pond has been getting warmer and warmer.  Rancho Seco might be in decent shape for early bass and is planted with trout.

Then again, this is a LOT of water, watching as my neighbors gutters runneth over  :)

could always borrow a yak as well  ;)
Less Mental than before, Still savage AF tho <3

Andy, I was actually thinking of trying for sturgeon tomorrow, but my usual places to fish would probably take 12 POUNDS of lead to hold bottom.  :smt044 I've got a spot in mind, but we'll see how it looks when we get there.

Rhyak, Hopefully everything settles down a bit before you come up in a couple of weeks.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.
