Hey guys... I'm new to the forum and this is my 1st time to post. I used to be an avid bass fisherman who always fished out of a bass boat. A divorce 3 years ago prompted me to modify my fishing style so I decided to go green and join the madness. I have a 11' Trident and have been out only 2x at quarry lakes. Looking forward to doing some coastal sishing in HMB and Linda Mar this year.

I'm preparing for a trip to Nassau, Bahamas on 8/1. Has anyone fished there? Any tips that you can share?

Years ago when I was working and living there the boat fishing was hand lining. Bring some good gloves. I've seen some realy bad line injurys on people that hands are not ready for that. Find a good guide (of course). The locals that didn't put on some flashys show was who I liked to hook up with, but it has been over 20yrs, What ever you do have fun and enjoy the clear waters. BTW water temp should be in the low 70s this time of year.

Thanks Sea Shark.... I'll be there for a week and will try to hook up with locals. I did that in La Paz (Baja) many years ago. I went out half a day with a local skiff fisherman for $20 and a couple of six packs.

Have fun, Remember though, when your looking for that local, there are runners out there and don't be supprised if someone seems to think its gonna snow.
