I want to tow my travel trailer to Clear lake from Fremont.  Google maps recommends taking hwy 29 then 53.  I've never been through that way past Yountville and I would like to know how twisty and winding that road is all the way to Clear Lake.  I would prefer a slightly longer route that is less hilly and winding.

Thanks

the less hilly twisty route would probably be 101 to the 20, 29 up to lake county is real steep and twisty, and the locals drive real fast, and 101 to 175 is also pretty steep and twisty, cameron

Thanks Cameron,

I use to always take 101 to 175, but that was in my little civic.  I guess 101 to 20 is the way we'll go.

If you are towing anything dont use 175..I would recommend 101, 20, then 29 to clear lake, its longer but its safer when your towing..
