I think this picture has been around before and determined to be phony.  There is just something about the way he is holding it that looks bogus.

kinda looks a little photo shopped

I dont think so look in the lower left hand corner at the tail end of the fish. you will see where part of the tail fin dips into and under the watter ! if it was photo shoped it would be laying over the water not in it or under it !

I noticed the tail originally but I still believe that it's photoshopped.  The professionals can do some amazing things.  I don't by the position of his left hand, but that's just me.  What do I know about catching fish that big - not much.

Observation see highlighted

Eyes looking at different angle (original size)
Fingers size under the Gills no man has such huge fingers..compare to size..I hold 10 lbs fish my fingers never look that big (maybe because I'm asian :smt005)
Lastly the angle of elbow is beyond the extended angle of the fish... just me observation no pun nor harm intended on this post..

The fingers under the head do look larger. You can do anything with photoshop, i use it all day long at work, and im still amazed how powerful it is.

IMO if they used Photoshop, it was to make the color more vivid.  Same guy, different fish:

Yup definitely a common carp with photoshop orange color added. Common carp have barbels on the mouth, goldfish no not.

I guess it could be some koi species but I really have no experience dealing with them. I just know that common carp have barbels and goldfish do not.
