There is always a bite at Tahoe; just gotta find out what they are biting that day.
Tahoe is my nemesis so I will not offer any advice although even I have caught fish there.

well,
Sunday I was on the lake at Incline village and marked very few fish, with nothing biting for me...
It was great until the storm skipped up from South Lake..

best of luck

Launch out of cave rock 300-500 yds straight out nice drop offs you'll mark fish what they will hit that day good luck. I always bring gibs just in case, and a trap for minnows

March and April is a good time for catching big Macks out in front of the casinos.

Spend the $100 bucks and go on a charter. I would recommend Mike w/ TahoeTopliners. Otherwise your best bet is to stay away from the main lake .. and check out some of those smaller lakes.

then why be a kayak angler if getting skunked stops you from getting on the water?  and avoid the big lake?  its Tahoe!!  why not hit it in a little boat?

sorry - just a little excitable about the primal adventurous part of kayaking....

If it was all about landing fish, I surely wouldn't have been a kayak fisherman this long.....would have gotten a nice big cushy boat with power to roam....room for gear....etc....
