Troy,

Thats great news man, back to the Redwoods and your wife!!

About the time you are returning to Felton, my family and I will be relocating to the Great Smoky Mountains in Virginia. I lost my job in November, and just finished closing the deal on a long term job in Bristol, VA, where you can buy a huge farm house on 20 acres with a pool for $200,000.00. A modest 3 bedroom, 2 bath house is less than $150K.

I'll sure miss the NCKA gang and the fishing at Bean, but I'll still be on the water back there, just mostly lakes and rivers.

Anyway, I'm really glad you'll be able to come back to CA.

Best,

Rich

Damn Rich I had no idea. We are so sorry to hear you are leaving. Virginia is nice though. I will always remember the mountain of chips you brought to Albion. Please stay in touch. Craig

HDrich,  My move compared to your move is insignificant. Sorry you have to do that, I understand more now than ever befor, the scarafices one will make to keep "Food on the table"
Perfect opertunity to start ECKA!  There are a few kayak fishermen out that way, (KFS.com) I'm sure you'll be on the water in no time.

Thanks for the kind words my brothers. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do. My other firm offer was outside of Lubbock, TX. The only way my yak would see water would be if I turned the Prowler it into a planter box. :smt004

Katie graduates SFSU this May, and Kelsey has decided to stay here with her boyfriend and continue at Cabrillo College. With Katie's degree in Fashion and Design Merchandising, she'll be looking for work in New York, so living in VA for her is great.

We won't sell the house here, rent or lease is the way to go with the current economy.

Donna will stay here 4-6 months to start packing up the house, while I research the area around Bristol to find her dream home.

Joel,

I'll be commuting for the next 6 months, three to four weeks there, then a week at home. If I succeed with the challenges they have put on the table, within one year I'll be the VP of Ops and then I can live anywhere as there are plants in Denver, CO, Bristol, VA and soon to be one somewhere in CA.
