Another Poll! :smt006
Going to Mo-town next weekend to visit Ash's fam.  Bring my mini-x & wanna fish near by, but I don't have all day, so thinking about hitting up the closest lakes, Modesto or Turlock.
Never been to either of these lakes (went to Don Pedro before nice lake but little too far)...
Aiming for bass (smb, spotted, lmb) or maybe trout (but Ash's fam doesn't like fish so bringing back fish might reduce GAF/GFAF...)
anybody interested?  any input will help!
Thanks in advance! :smt002

Tulloch has a good population of spots.

McSwain, on this side of McClure, is easy for trout but you won't get an AOTY upgrade.

Naoaki don't know much about it but I have a friend that lives in Ceres that pulls some nice LMB and Kitty's at a place called Fox Grove Park on the river. I think it's a no fee area he hit's it after or before work.

Yes, there's that place too.  I can't speak for it now, but it used to attract a lot of riff raff.

Hi Naoki,

Haven't been to Turlock or Modesto Reservoirs. Of the remaining I'd choose Tulloch.  For a short day it's closer and free to launch. The fishin was good for me a few weks go.

I know Turlock used to be planted and kicks out very nice holdovers every once in awhile, especially near the inlet.
