I just got back from San Pablo and fished from 9am to 4pm.  It rained the entire time and there was only about 6 boats launched and 6 people fishing from the bank in the boat launch area the whole day.  The guys at the gate looked so bored.  I fished from my kayak and my feet were freezing.  The water was muddy and a lot of debris in the water.  I also marked a lot of fish but got skunked.  Most of the boaters didn't seem to catch anything either.  I did see one banker cleaning about 4 fish but that was all.  My kayak inspection from quarry lakes was within the 30 day period so they took a quick look and let me on my way.  The water was way up and the lake looked really nice.  I bait fished and also trolled but no bites.  The other boats seemed to start out trolling but then ended up bait fishing too.  I still had a lot of fun but again it was really cold.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
